Tomorrow , Well i guess today since its 3:36 am i get to go to a funeral , i guess you could call him my god father, iv known him as far back as i can remember. When i was young i remember going over their house, his daughters were just abit older then i was and i remember spending alot of time at there house.
Anyways, he died in his fifty’s watching tv, Will always remember him, Goodbye woody.

Hi, this will be explaining the fight of hodir in 25man Ulduar.
If you want to know what he does, look at http://www.wowwiki.com/Hodir_(tactics) But this is more of a highlight on a few things he does.
When you walk into his room you notice there are a bunch of people iced up in Flash Freezes These guys are the biggest part of the fight.

1.
Druids - Tor Greycloud/Kar Greycloud or Eivi Nightfeather/Ellie Nightfeather. They attack with Wrath, which does 1,913 to 2,587 Nature damage, and cast Starlight, which increases attack and casting speed of the affected targets by 100% for 1 minute.
2.
Shamans - Spiritwalker Tara/Spiritwalker Yona or Elementalist Mahfuun/Elementalist Avuun. They attack with Lava Burst, which does 4,250 to 5,750 Fire damage, and cast Storm Cloud, which allows the affected player to buff up to 4 (Heroic: 6) allies with Storm Power, which increases critical strike damage by 135% for 30 seconds.

Mages - Amira Blazeweaver/Veesha Blazeweaver or Missy Flamecuffs/Sissy Flamecuffs. They attack with Fireball, which does 3,570 to 4,830 Fire damage and an additional 900 Fire damage every 3 second for 6 seconds. They also cast Conjure Toasty Fire, which prevents the effects of Biting Cold, Flash Freeze and Freeze, and Melt Ice, which attempts to free a target encased in a frost tomb over 10 seconds. Players standing near a Toasty Fire have a chance to apply Singed when hitting with spells.

Priests - Battle-Priest Eliza/Battle-Priest Gina or Field Medic Penny/Field Medic Jessy. They attack with Smite, which does 3,400 to 4,600 Holy damage and can use Greater Heal, which heals for 19,000 to 21,000. They also cast Dispel Magic, which can free players from the immobilizing effect of Freeze.
Once you understand how those work, it makes this fight so much quicker. People who get StormCloud should be in melee range so the melee get the buff, so if a healer gets it, run over and pretty much stand by the melee, as they crit more offen then most casters do(due to the speed they attack) The heals from the priest help alot 15-20K per heal can save almost everyone. HUNTERS should be near a fire , explosive shots have a change to proc the Singed effect where other casters like mages, locks and ele shamans would get more help from Starlight; likewise all casters should stand in a starlight, YOU MUST BE IN THE LIGHT TO GET THE BUFF. jumping eveyr few secs or running to another light will help keep biting cold off you.
There are two hard modes for this fight, both of which are timed. Defeating Hodir in under 2:30 minutes, and defeating him in under 6:00 minutes.
To do the hard hard mode , under 2:30 minutes you need to keep a eye for every buff you can get. we should always try to aim for that, if not, the 6 min one shouldnt be that hard if we are “buffed”
EDIT: With all this said, the melee and casters should make sure all the guys who help are out of there iceblocks, starting with the mages.

Since irc using ddc , kazaa, limewire, then torrents. There has always been a way to transfer large files over the net without much of a server side database storing these files.
This is called P2P networking, peer to peer. Simple, but it works. Now alot of times these are used for copyright’d files. Honestly i believe the idea of copyright(laws) is just stupid. Millions of people use these, and maybe 300 thousand want it stopped. I am sorry but in the end, people will rise and fight for what they want.
Its already happening since the people who ran the pirate bay were sent to jail. Even reading slashdot, i get reminded that even Google is a great tool for finding files if you know how.

Lately iv been stuck in notepad++ writing up some code in PHP to fix a few problems on my phpbb website. Last time i wrote code like this was long time ago, So getting back to it took awhile. But like most things, abike and such. Once you start doing it again, it flows. The main thing i am working on is a “resync” type thing for attachments on PHPbb forums.
-Delete rows were the file does not exist in the system (Done)
-Delete the files were a row does not exist (OR make a row for that file and stick it into a post) (working)
The thing about putting a row in the database for a file manualy. is becasue the nameing system. Its userID_34739847983249832794324 Bunch of numbers. So for me to find out why type of file is it, id have to find a script/write one for it to look in the file and guess what it is, a bmp, a png, a .rar , a jpg, All the file types.

As of last night, TDL with me have downed (first time for me being in the raid doing it) Sartharion with all his 3 drakes alive. Perhaps one of the longer fights iv been in. Part go all out damage, and part staying alive. Got my Title doing Heroic: The Twilight Zone and got my t7.5 gloves Valorous Earthshatter Gloves So thats all great.
As for life, Its been going meh ok. feel slightly alone again. o well. Got a new printer..one that is wireless. totally cool. had fun setting it up, very easy. workforce 600 in case anyone wants to know.

I am a over obsessive reader at wowinsider.com and this (link) post stuck out more then the other ones lately.
Basically with wrath there is no requirement other then being 80 to do heroics. I myself hate it. with TBC you had to have the rep to do heroics. most the times by running reg dungeons to get the rep, and while you were doing that you also got some gear to do the heroics. Well now fresh 80’s hop into the looking for group and start doing heroics, undergeard. Now take a week after turning 80 and go run some 80 dungeons. There are alot of groups still formed for them, and you will get some better gear, replace your 70 epics and 75 blues. Get something better.
And to add to that, if i see one more person still wearing level 70 epics at 80. please quit the game. either go farm some gold and get the crafted stuff (pvp or not) its better then your epics, don’t let the colour change scare you. Tired of seeing classes that should be doing over 2000+ dps do under 1000. its not that hard, go online check specs and gear, make a list of were to get that gear. works wonders.

This will be a list of a few addons for World Of Warcraft that are help all classes or certin classes. I have over 60 addons on my computer, but i might be a bit lazy and if it makes 2 clicks 1 click. I got it.
Download Manager -
There are a few programs that help you install addons. keep track of them and update them. The best iv seen so far is WoWMatrix it has 99% of the addons i use and is the most clean non bloated software. In fact you do not even install it, it runs from one file , auto tracks were you’re wow folder is, and scans your already existing addons. including a very easy way to install them.
A Must addon-
Here is a list of a few addons that are a must in dungeons or raids. You can use what you want, here is what i use.
Threat meter - Omen , Lightweight threat meter that does its job
Damage meter- Recount , Very informative damage meter/healing meter/ death counter…
Combat Boss Encounter warning system- Big Wigs, + all of its little extras . Some people use deadly boss mods that i find a little slow at picking up some things, highly configurable
~ Different UI , face it. The default user interface sucks like Ley-Guardian_Eregos. There are a few that are pretty good out there, i myself use X-Perl. has Raid, Party, Pet, Target..o hell i could go on about great this thing is , but why dont you go check it out at there addon profile at Curse. Great for healers and dps and tanks.
(as the list goes down its more of a would help but not of need addon)
A way to check loot from bosses- Yes..such exists. its called Atlas loot. link combined with atlas (the map of dungeons ) it also has all the rep gear, raid drops + a few extras
Mail addon- Might as well toss this in, its called “easymail“ got 3 pages of mail full of attachments? hit 2 buttons and go afk and let it grab everything from your mail.
Chat addon- Chatter lets you configure your chat box to what you want it to look like
Bar manager- Got too many spells and not enough room? I use BarTender4 , lets you have up to 10 bars werever you want however you want. very configurable addon.
gear rating- Just found this addon a few days ago from a friend, its called Rating Buster. Not 100% perfect but you can configure it to what spec you are if it thinks your holy and you are a ret paladin.
Talent manager- If you are like me, and respec weekly (or more) this addon called “Talented” (with talented_data) is the best little tool ever, lets you save premade talents, oneclick add your talents, send a setup of talents to someone else who has talented. So many things you can do.
Sexymap - What a name for a addon, in the picture i posted awhile ago my minimap is sexymap addon. lets you hide icons till you hover over the minimap.
I like seeing things pop up when i do damage, i like them to flow, iv been using this addon called “Parrot” , Its floating combat text of joy.
and for quests there always is carbonite/quest helper (i like carbonite more.. )
Edit; With the new EULA from blizzard, carbonite may just be shutdown due to there “pay to get the full thing” and them putting in adds in the addon in game
Now there are many more addons out there, and class addons, Shammans have shockandawe(enchament) that lets them see cool downs of the main skills and when Maelstrom hits 5 stacks. There’s Spellcraft for mages, infact a part of this spell craft addon works for all classes, lets you sell all gray crap in 1 click, a reagent reminder no matter what class you are. and of course the portals for mages.
